About

In 2004, I discovered yoga while suffering from chronic back pain and I experienced tremendous changes, both in my body and in my ability to calm my mind and relax more deeply. Having discovered the healing and calming power of yoga, I obtained my 200RYT Certification in 2006 as a means of helping others. I had the privilege of studying various yoga techniques under Jason Crandell, T.K.V. Desikachar, B.K.S. Iyengar, Sianna Sherman, and Richard Rosen among others. I first started my career as a registered nurse in France (where I am originally from) and later as a certified massage therapist, which gives me a deep and comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, the nervous system, and the musculoskeletal system. I also obtained a certification in Restorative Yoga, a form of yoga used to relieve chronic stress and provide a profound and lasting calmness. I am devoted to my personal and spiritual growth, and continually seek opportunities to explore and expand my practice  of yoga. As a registered member of Yoga Alliance, I have access to new developments in the study of yoga to provide my students with the most recent information. My yoga classes are centered around becoming aware of our own inner-being through relaxation by using different tools that enable each of us to slow down to the rhythm of our own breath Prana: our life force.
